• I imagine that Loki just gets all emotional after thinking about what his life has become • he was once a respected prince of Asgard • though 'second-best' • he was still loved by and cared for by many • now here he is • pushing everyone away • and after failing at proving his worth to Odin • he's trying to take over Midgard to prove his worth to himself • and he just wonders 'how has this become my life?' • and he just goes to Clint • and cries to him • and he uses him as just a listening ear and a shoulder to lean on • Loki's happy that though he is generally unresponsive • that someone is finally listening to his problems • and trying to comfort him • and then he loses Clint • sitting by himself in a prison cell or of the like • now mourning another added misery to his life • as he's now lost probably the closest thing he has had to a friend
